About the 2nd Future Landscape and Playspaces UAE Summit
Dubai is aimed at creating public parks and distinctive recreational spaces to further enhance the attractiveness of the Emirate, as well as improve well-being and happiness among its citizens. Dubai's ambitious 2040 Smart Urban Master Plan is designed to address environmental concerns at the city level with the goal to reduce building carbon footprints by 30% by 2030, enhance green spaces, expand beaches by 400%, and transform 60% of Dubai into nature reserves by the year 2040.
Urban planners are directing their efforts towards the establishment of pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods and integration of green spaces. This strategy advances sustainability and nurtures healthier and happier communities.
The Dubai Countryside and Rural Areas Development Master Plan is aimed at preserving the natural essence of regions while transforming them into prominent tourist destinations and prioritizes the safeguarding of natural reserves and archaeological sites, supporting local farmers and products, creating investment opportunities, enhancing public facilities and services, developing public parks, implementing traffic solutions, and establishing sustainable transportation systems for direct bus trips and designated zones for bicycles and scooters.
Dubai’s dedication and vision is not just enhancing the attractiveness of the Emirate but also fostering well-being and happiness among its residents.
